Strato-Start Slipring Motor Starter
The Strato-Start is a compact, high-performance inducer system designed to optimize the starting of slipring (wound rotor) induction motors. Engineered for both new installations and retrofit applications, it delivers superior reliability, simplified operation, and long-term cost savings compared to traditional resistor and contactor systems.
Strato-Start inducers can be built into new slipring starter equipment or retrofitted into existing rotor starter systems to replace failed components. In operation, the Strato-Start connects across the rotor winding, selecting the impedance required to match starting current and torque demands. A timer-controlled shorting contactor bypasses the Strato-Start once the motor reaches near full speed. During commissioning, test starts and simple adjustment of the Strato-Start tappings allow fine-tuning for the best balance between starting current and run-up time.
Trailing Cable Tester
Saftronics have been manufacturing trailing cable testing machines since 1978. While still maintaining the rugged and reliable aspects throughout the years, we have managed to incorporate the newest technology in our cable testers ensuring that it meets all the requirements of most cable shops. It is intended for use as a quality control measure to test for weak spots in badly assembled joint and required cables.
Cable Testers size:
Small Unit: 16 – 35mm2
Large Unit: 50 – 95mm2
